Pandectis connector for Claude and ChatGPT

What the connector does

The connector gives your assistant two read-only tools:

• Search the law: natural-language search across legislation, codes, case law, parliamentary questions and soft law from Luxembourg, France and the European Union. Each result carries its official references: title, date, court, docket number, ECLI, CELEX and a link to the source.
• Read the full text: reads the official text of the documents found, before any citation.

The connector never modifies any data and has no access to your internal documents, matters or conversations on the Pandectis platform.

Who can use it

The connector is available to Pandectis account holders whose access to external AI has been enabled by Pandectis. To enable it, write to contact@pandectis.com or use the contact page.

Connecting Pandectis to Claude

• If Pandectis is listed in the Claude connectors directory, search for “Pandectis” and click Connect.
• Otherwise, open Settings, then Connectors, choose “Add custom connector” and paste the address https://mcp.pandectis.com/mcp.
• A Pandectis window opens: sign in with your account, accept the terms of use if they are shown, then click Authorise.

Connecting Pandectis to ChatGPT

• If Pandectis is listed in the ChatGPT apps directory, search for “Pandectis” and click Connect.
• Otherwise, enable developer mode in the advanced app settings, create an app and enter the address https://mcp.pandectis.com/mcp with OAuth authentication.
• A Pandectis window opens: sign in with your account, accept the terms of use if they are shown, then click Authorise.

Example questions

• What are the conditions for the Luxembourg participation exemption on dividends (article 166 LIR)? Cite the text in force.
• Find recent case law from the Luxembourg Court of Appeal on dismissal for serious misconduct.
• What does Article 1240 of the French Civil Code provide and how does the Cour de cassation apply it?
• What obligations does Regulation (EU) 2016/679 impose in the event of a data breach?
• Summarise the CSSF positions on IT outsourcing.

Limitations

• The assistant’s answers are informational: they are not legal advice and must be checked against the official source, whose link comes with every result.
• For an amended statute, cite the up-to-date consolidated version rather than the original version published in the official journal.
• A very long document may be returned only in part. The connector tells the assistant, which should say so and read the document again if needed.
• Each account has a search quota specific to the connector, separate from the platform quota. When it is reached, the assistant is informed.

Data and privacy

Pandectis does not retain the text of the questions sent by the assistant and keeps no history of these searches. The conversation itself is processed by Anthropic or OpenAI under their own terms.

You can withdraw an assistant’s access at any time from My account, in the “Connected AI” section. Details of the processing are set out in Article 4.11 of the privacy policy.
