This is a technical term used by language model providers to measure the volume of text processed · input (your question, context) and output (the response). In practice, one token corresponds to approximately four characters: a short sentence already represents several tokens. At Pandectis, Advanced Chatbot billing uses this unit to reflect the actual processing cost. You do not need to count them yourself: consumption is clearly summarised on your invoice.
